Robert Agee is the Vice President for Russia of Cisco. In this role he leads a team of more than 300 employees and is responsible for all business operations in the region.
Agee has nearly 11 years of leadership experience at Cisco, with a proven record of success and a broad understanding of Cisco's business in one of the largest emerging markets. He has been actively involved in numerous Internet and telecommunications projects and the expansion of Cisco's business in Russia/CIS. He has previously served as General Manager of Russia, General Manager of Russia/CIS, and, Managing Director Cisco Russia/CIS. He has received several company awards, including Country Manager of EMEA Central region in fiscal year 1999 and General Manager of EMEA Central the following year.
Prior to joining Cisco, Agee was the General Manager of Xerox Corporation for the CIS.
Agee is active with the American Chamber of Commerce, assisting in the advancement of American IT companies in Russia. He is on its Executive Committee of the Board and is involved in various charity projects. In 2002 Agee was nominated for the "Top 100 in the Russian IT Industry." In 2004 he was awarded the Darin Russian National Award for his contributions to international development and integration. In 2007 he was presented with an honorary diploma by Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, in recognition of Cisco's contribution to boosting productivity, improving QoS, and raising competitiveness.
Agee holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of California, Berkeley, and a degree in economics from Harvard University and Poznan University, Poland.
