Leonid Novoselsky was born on November 7th 1969 in Kiev. He grew up in Moscow.
Since September 1987 till 1993 he was a student of physics and chemistry specialisation of Institute of Ssteel and Alloys.
In 1991 together with his friends, Leonid founded the company "Gradient" which started with one stall in the centre of Moscow. Today "Gradient" is one of the leading FMCG distribution companies in Russia with turnover of about $500 million, 4500 employees and branches in the majority of the largest cities of Russia.
In 1997-1999 Leonid has received an MBA degree in one of leading business schools of the world - Wharton Business School, Philadelphia, USA.
Leonid is also a director at the Board of directors of "Vimpelcom" - Russian leading telecommunications company.
Leonid is married, has two sons. He is actively engaged in football, ju-jitsu and mountain skiing, and also travels a lot.
