Sergey Petrov - the Deputy of the State Duma, the member of the Budget and Taxes Committee, the founder of "Rolf" Group of companies.
Sergey was born in 1954 in Orenburg. There he was graduated from high school and entered the Orenburg military aviation school.
He finished it in 1975, and worked as the pilot-instructor in that school. In 1982 in a rank of the major, Sergey Petrov had been dismissed from the Soviet Army, and also excluded from the CPSU (Communist Party of Soviet Union) for antitotalitarian beliefs and participation in work of the informal democratic organization.
Same year Sergey has moved to Moscow and entered on Trade and economic faculty of Institute of the Soviet Trade (evening branch). He finished it in 1987 and was working in Mosingstroy.
In 1989 - 1991 he worked as Director of autorolling division of company ROZEK. In August, 1991 has created his own company "Rolf" (it is registered literally couple of weeks before the well known communist putsch that lead to the end of Soviet Union).
Since the foundation "Rolf" group of companies became the largest auto dealership and distribution company in Russia. In September 2004, Sergey Petrov withdrew from the operational management role in the company and transferred it to the expatriate executives.
Till December 2007 he was responsible for the long-term strategy of the company.
In December, 2007 Sergey Petrov has been elected as a Deputy of the State Duma.
Sergey speaks German and English fluently.
