We collect personal information of our participants only for the purpose of identification and validation necessary to protect the interests of all registered participants. We ask any participant to disclose some personal information to other participants because we do not allow any anonymous interactions at our web site.
We believe that any participant is the sole owner of the right to either disclose any personal information or any own content to any other person or group of persons. By filing in an application to join the community a perspective participant voluntarily accepts responsibility to disclose some portion of his or her personal information to us and to other community members. After joining the community participant voluntarily accepts the right to keep this information updated and valid throughout the membership term.
The level of disclosure of any other participant’s personal information or own content is entirely controlled only by participant. Any participant’s content can be classified by participant as seen to:
1. Global - any visitor (registered or unregistered);
2. Community - all participants only;
3. Group - any group of participants starting from one person;
4. Private - owner only;
5. Nobody.
If any participant’s content is classified by a participant as ‘seen to nobody’ it is still stored in our data storage facility but is not seen even by the owner of the content.
No information once stored in our data storage will be ever deleted unless otherwise required by law or ruled by court. Any participant may request retrieval of own information classified as ‘nobody’. We have the right to charge a fee for such retrieval. Any person who has been a participant but left the community for whatever reason may request a copy of his information classified as private, group or community. We have the right to charge a fee for this service as well.
We don’t use participant’s personal information for advertising purposes. Advertisements at our web site are linked only to the context of our content and you see them only when you retrieve the content you seek to get at our web site.
