David Pearson, Global Director, Member Firm HR Support, of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited

David Pearson is the Global Director, Member Firm HR Support, of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL), effective 1 July 2011. In addition, he is working on climate change and sustainability and corporate social responsibility for DTTL. Prior to this position he was the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte CIS for four years.

David has over twenty years of public accounting and private telecommunications industry experience in the US and Canada. Since joining Deloitte CIS, David has been heavily involved in firm's most prestigious telecommunication projects. From 1994 to 1998, David was the head of the finance and accounting group for a wireless communications company based in San Diego, California. As a member of the company’s senior management team, he evaluated and strategically planned wireless and telecommunication investment and project opportunities.

Since joining the firm in 1999, he has been involved in some of our most prestigious and important clients as an Audit Partner and as a Lead Client Service Partner bringing multidisciplinary solutions to our clients.  In addition to leading HR and Learning, David has also been very active in various strategic Talent and Employer of Choice initiatives having lead Talent for the CIS from 2003 to 2006.  He has led the Operations Committee managing the day to day operations of the firm since 2006.
