Jonathan is Chief Executive Officer and founder of Jet Republic. He has considerable experience in providing high quality and bespoke services to wealthy individuals and businesses, having launched new companies and services in the private aviation and luxury markets.
In June 2007, Jonathan led a management team that partnered with Euram Bank AG, an Austrian private bank, to acquire the concierge service from Travelex. This was subsequently rebranded as WhiteConcierge and Jonathan and the management team developed a strategy to turn the company into a global concierge business.
Before acquiring a stake in WhiteConcierge, Jonathan founded and was Managing Director of JetCard, a division of Air Partner plc. There he recruited a powerful team of industry specialists and created a dynamic business, which is still used as a benchmark by competitors around the world.
Prior to that, Jonathan joined NetJets in 2002 as a Citation XL pilot before becoming an instructor and Falcon 900 Captain, and in 2003 he was asked to set up a commercial office to manage costs. As Commercial Director he assembled an industry-leading procurement team of accountants, analysts
and negotiators that generated year-on-year multi-million dollar savings for the business.
Jonathan began his career in the Royal Air Force through an RAF Scholarship and was involved in a number of humanitarian and evacuation flights as a Hercules pilot. He was a pilot in the RAF Falcons Parachute Display team and subsequently became an instructor with the RAF Central Flying School.
Jonathan was a Downhill Ski Racer, representing the RAF at the annual Inter-Services competition.
He holds an MSc in Air Transport Management. Jonathan is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
